The NSW Government supports a transition to BEVs and wants to help fast track the transport sector to net zero emissions by 2050.

What’s happening?

We are working with stakeholders to create an incentive to help organisations take up BEVs in their passenger and light commercial fleets.

We expect this incentive will be available to businesses, not-for-profit organisations and local councils to reduce the costs of buying new BEVs and base charging stations for their fleets.

Funding is planned through regular competitive funding rounds starting in 2021.
